Beauty – New Orleans
My name is Dontae, I am 25-years old, and I was born and raised here in New Orleans. I have a fun personality and I love learning new things about the beauty industry. I am a self-taught makeup artist based in the NOLA area. I have been doing makeup for five, going on six years now. I am also a part time artist at MAC Cosmetics and I absolutely love what I do. Makeup isn't just a hobby for me, it's an escape from the world around me. I'm a people person, so I love getting to know my clients and listening to their stories. It's therapeutic for them and myself. I have done a couple celebrity clients such as Karen Civil and Angela Yee and I'm looking forward to working with more celebs in the near future. I am also a makeup artist for the New Orleans Pelicans Dance Team. I've worked with the infamous Kisha Williams of The Makeup Lab and along side of Dee Rouzan who is the owner of a popular ,makeup studio in New Orleans, Faces Of Virtue. I've experienced a lot in my few short years of working in this industry and I am ready to broaden my horizons and excel in more areas of the makeup industry,
