Oli is a visual artist who uses abstract painting, photography and other media to deliver his stance on social causes and to foster conversations arout identity. Oli has begun his journey as an artist in 2003 where he started studying in Fine Arts in Montreal. After completing his Masters Degree in Media Studies and Technology, Oli discovered artography, where he combines his occupations of artist, teacher and researcher. Oli's areas of research and of creation are inspired by graffiti art, street art, urban culture and contemporary artists from Les Automatistes (theory of automatism) in Quebec such as Jean-Paul Riopelle, Fernand Leduc and Paul-Émile Borduas. Oli works as the artistic director of the House of Create|IV, where he publishes his visual work, artography books and education articles.
