Vessie Kostadinova

Vessie is a dancer, choreographer, and performer in the DMV area. She started dancing at the age of 7 in her home country of Bulgaria, where she learned Bulgarian folk dances in school as a part of her curriculum for 7 years. Alongside that, she was a successful acrobatic gymnast winning gold, silver and bronze medals at all National Championships she participated in and the first ever International Championship for Juniors and Seniors held in Bulgaria. After going off to high school, Vessie discovered urban styles and began her training in hip-hop and street style choreography. In 2013, Vessie moved to the United States to begin her college career at George Mason University in Virginia. Since then, she has danced with UrbanKnowlogy 101, Culture Shock D.C. and Piernas Locas Project. With these teams Vessie has had the opportunity to travel and showcase in Canada, California, and New Jersey. Vessie is currently a full-time student and a dance and programming instructor in the area. With her passion for dance, she hopes to inspire the audience and the people around her to be passionate about everything they do in their lives.
