Australian Born artist Vanessa Lee Culhane, otherwise known as Van Lee has always followed her internal impulse to communicate through her creative abilities; dabbling as a singer/ songwriter, designer, photographer, adventurer and world traveler. When Van Lee gets creative, her sentient mind takes over and she is whisked away into her minds eye. Living in a utopia of her imagination where she manifests her creativity, she leaves a trail of her existence wherever she goes. Her hands compose sensory songs of vivid colors and whimsical imagery, often finding herself spread out on the lounge room floor translating her dreams by the flickering candlelight in the early hours of dawn. She expresses emotion through her tantalizing color pallet of vivid hues and soothing tints. Her passions bleed through the delicate fibers of her canvas, as a new art is born - the sleepless nights worth the insomnia. Van Lee has traveled extensively throughout Europe studying the intricate details of the world around her and various painting techniques.
