Visual Art – Washington, D.C.

Art has always been a big part of my life. Growing up and watching my grandfather paint marvelous pieces, I always wanted to amount to that; I always wanted to be just as great of an artist as he was and because of that, he was one of my biggest influences. I often found myself drawing more than I did my school work which probably wasn’t the best thing for me academically, but it definitely helped improve my art. I really found my “niche” with digital art and digital painting when I started my major in college for Graphic Design. It really allowed me to be just as great as my grandfather, but in a new revamped way. With the traditional skills I was accustomed to combined with the “new age” digital skills I quickly grew to love, it made me the artist that I am today and I only hope to get better with time.
