Visual Art – Raleigh
Honestly, I never really saw myself as a true artist. I have always had an interest in Photography and have found joy in taking pictures of Nature scenes. However, abstract painting and acrylic pours have recently became a hobby/stress-reliever/therapy of mines. It takes my mind away from the stresses of everyday life, and helps me release those stresses onto a canvas. After receiving several compliments about my work from friends, family, and coworkers, I decided that I would try opening an Etsy shop to share my art with the world. I also needed to free my crowded apartment walls filled with all of my paintings. My shop Abstraography is a mixture of my abstract art and photography in their original forms, and also transferred on everyday accessories like cellphone cases and mugs. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I thank God for blessing me with this hidden gift.
