I am an artist only in my fourth year of practice, driven by want to express myself and my views of the world, or at least my understanding of it. Being born and raised in an urban south side Chicago transitioning to an affluent suburban community in Ohio, I’ve been blessed to have encountered and learned from a diverse amount of people. People from different social classes, ethnicities, and so forth, which assist in every creation. Creating works in an effort to provoke thought, conversation, or change—a pictorial text of sorts.
