My romance with wire wrapping began simply for the love of stones and crystals. Yes I love rocks! I wanted to find a way to always wear them so I took a two hour class on how to wire wrap and the rest is history. I chose to work with natural gemstones and crystals as I feel their healing properties are an incredible gift and each piece is created with great care and mindfulness not only for the stone but also for the design.
No two pieces are ever the same as each one is created individually and each stone is intuitively hand picked, not every specimen wants to be 'caged-in' wire. This is something that I noticed I could feel from an early age--it's a feeling, a calling, a silent 'talk' from rocks. It's very subtle but sensible. I am extremely grateful for this gift.
This craft breeds Joy within me and and sharing it with everyone is something that I feel is part of my place in this world. These are essentially medicine pieces that support and aid each person on their own road towards healing and awakening.
