Stomp Factory is a performance and competition Hip Hop dance studio created for dancers by dancers. Located on the Southeast side of Houston, Tx. , we are Clear Lake's only real Hip Hop dance studio. Stomp Factory caters to the arts, entertainment, instruction and professional services. As a studio of mixed ages, our mission is to empower our dancers to excel and help one another to be the very best they can be in and out of the studio.
The establishment of Stomp Factory came from the love of our founding team, The Alliance, created and directed by Ms.Crystal (aka Momma C). Our founding team of dancers worked hard to be able to create a space where they would always have a home and where their voices would always be heard. Due to our passion and long before we were ever able to actually have 4 walls to practice in- our dancers danced in parking lots, garages, mall hallways, sidewalks and anywhere we could find 'space' to dance as dancing is in our heart and soul! Through hard work, long hours and pure passion for what we do, Stomp Factory now not only houses The Alliance but also our junior team RUGRATZ Cru and our award winning all-genre competition team. Formally a private studio, we opened our doors to the public in 2015.
Along with garnering a studio full of winning competition trophies since our inception in 2013 , we have been fortunate to be seen and work with some really great people! We are the go-to performance team for The Houston Astros Opening Day Street Fest yearly by request of the Astros organization, as seen in The Annual HEB Thanksgiving Day Parade via the City Of Houston, Mardi Gras! Galveston, The Houston Zombie Walk in Historic Houston Heights, The Houston Chevron Marathon, Comicpalooza, Houston Scream Fest, HipHop Run Houston alongside Houston based rapper Paul Wall, World Of Dance (Houston, Dallas and Boston), America Loves To Dance, Toys For Joy Annual Toy Drive, The HUE Mural Festival, HoustonLife, Channel 11 and Couchtime With Sonja just to name a few!
When we aren't competing or performing, you can find us helping out one of our many charities or throwing down a flash mob near you! We are proud supporters of Autism Awareness Through The Arts, Stop! the Bully, Dancers Against CANcer and No Means No-Stop The Violence.
We pride ourselves in being Houstonians to the core which means we never give up- WE are HOUSTON STRONG!
