Janeen Brown is a Baltimore native, 3rd generation self-taught seamstress under the leadership of her mother & grandmother. She’s a mother of three beautiful girls who constantly reminds her the importance of being present, living in the moment, and to have fun. Worked in retail management for 8 years as well as training liaison, facilitator and visual merchandiser. Received several accolades for superior customer service, shrinkage, store presentation and top sales for the region during her tenure. During that time, she also took a lot of interest in community outreach that has translated into Sobiu. Left retail management to pursue her entrepreneurial career full time with a mission to reach more people and have a greater impact. Active volunteer in local elementary school as PTA President where the focus is community partnerships, creativity, higher learning and facilitating a cultured atmosphere for the youth. Through these different outlets, Janeen uses her light and voice to be an agent of change in the community.
