Beaux Dove & Skruff are a Dallas Based RnB Soul Band; with a core group to include: Beaux Dove-Lead Vocals/Keys Dev Owens-Lead Vocals Kahlil Taylor-Drums Gary Atkinson-Bass/Aux David Wilson-Guitar Four of the five haling from strong religious backgrounds full of evangelist and pastors; A part of their lives that will always be in the forefront. Skruff is influenced strongly by Gospel Music as well as Neo Soul Funk and Jazz, and takes much pride in being a potluck of both music and artistry. Skruff has played the same stage as many Dallas Greats such as The Found, Friday’s Foolery R.C. Williams & Shun Martin to name a few; and frequent some of Dallas’ Best Stages Such as Three Links, RBC, Harvest House, Black Canvas & Freeman Cajun Cafe. The diversity Skruff brings is rarely matched; with Beaux and his “Heart Touching” ballads and originals such as the Deep Ellum favorite “HONEST” & Dev with his attention grabbing energy, Skruff can be the perfect band for any occasion.
