Scarlett Garnet launched in 2006 and is the long-distance collaboration of Katie Miller and Garnet Griebel.
SG began with stringing beads and found objects and has evolved into metal work, with the two designers hand-drawing shapes that are cut by local industrial companies from metal, wood, and acrylic.
The themes that group their work range from Spaghetti Western Sunset to Black Forest Nouveau, each with unique stones and chains, but with a overall cohesive aesthetic.
Every skill has been self taught and developed with years of trial and error. Scarlett Garnet has been spreading its brand through St. Louis by selling at local fairs and markets, but also giving Scarlett Garnet to the whole country by travelling for retail and wholesale shows.
Scarlett Garnet jewelry is available in small boutiques all over the country. They also have a storefront in south St. Louis city at 2619 Cherokee Street.
