Performing Art – New Orleans
I\'m a loving, caring, and creative soul. I strive at doing my best for every performance I have ever done. I love to dance, sing, and entertain for the love of just that. When people see me perform, I want them to feel the joy and inspiration of accomplishing whatever their hearts desire. I want them to feel my energy, and see for themselves that no matter size, age, or gender, if I can do this, so can they.
Although I am a fresh face in the burlesque world, I am overwhelmed by the camaraderie within the community. Burlesque is exactly what you see; the art of teasing. I hint at the imagination with just enough, and leave my audience wanting more. In burlesque, the more feedback the audience gives, enhances the performance. It is truly an art form of the human body, and one of the many ways we express ourselves with our inner and outer beauty.
Burlesque has many art forms within it; costuming, choreography, choosing a theme, and picking the perfect song to bring the performance to life. It keeps me passionate about finding ways of sharing my interpretation of stories already told, and writing new stories for myself.
Burlesque has given me a whole new meaning of self-confidence and body positivity. It opens my eyes to a new form of self-expression, and discovery of my femininity. Burlesque has given me hope to inspire other women on their journey to self-confidence.
Burlesque is becoming my celebration of self-empowerment and womanhood.
