Rebecca Kanfer

rebecca kanfer was born in burlington, vermont and currently lives in astoria, new york where she works in the landscape architecture/design industry. after studying painting + design in portland, maine, rebecca went on to receive her master\'s of landscape architecture from an accredited university. here she learned about the design and representation of landscape as an ephemeral, poetic, and constructive medium. in her work, rebecca uses geometric patterns of the landscape complimented by complex shapes and textures of nature. her work seeks to rediscover familiar vistas and capture stories about our everyday landscape.
