Music – Portland

Aye wussup everybody, my name is Robbie Stalford. Most of you know my as my artist name RAW - B. I grew up in a small town called Grants Pass, Oregon. My parents divorced when I was 5, which sent my family into a complete spiral. Drugs, alcoholism, physical and even sexual abuse was the result of my broken family. My father, Robert (RIP), earned full custody of me when I was 7 years old. The alcoholism and abuse continued and so I began rapping and venting my feelings through music at 13 years old. At 15, my dad got tired of my rebellion so he kicked me out of his house. I ended up moving in with my friend Randy and his parents, who's Dad was a pastor at New Song Christian Fellowship. As time past in my new family, I embraced Jesus, even through music. Even though I caught a little break with this family, my struggle of finding my identity continued. Now that I was saved, new levels birthed new devils - and that is all I can really say about that season. When I turned 21, I moved out of my hometown to pursue music in the Vancouver WA/Portland OR area. I went through Hell and back to get here, and almost killed myself in the midst of being established here. Now that I have healed and grown through a season of pruning, it's time to start harvesting and planting seeds. I gotta thank my lord and Savior Jesus Christ for bringing me to this place and plugging me into such a phenomenal church at Activate. They've truly been family when I needed it most.
