Self-taught artist and woman of a certain age, I have been in love with making art for as long as I have memory. As I moved through life and other careers I held onto sketchbook and pencil - doggedly logging my 10,000 hours and more. My recurring themes include: resilience and motherhood. I am interested in evoking emotion, because that is where I find meaning. Born in NYC, I have have lived in the DC area for nearly 20 years. Commissions are an honor, and select prints are available.
