Photographie Acadienne

Louisiana Native. KC transplant. Moved back home to reconnect. I like to take pictures of everyday life in Acadiana, but my work isn't limited to the area. I've shot in KC, Chicago and Scotland. Since high school, I've had a fascination with photography and capturing moments with the lens. I find inspiration in a lot of subjects, but my biggest inspiration has been my daughter. Ever since she came into the world in December 2014, my life has changed for the better. I am available for weddings, engagements, birthdays, gender reveal, reunions, and any event you might want to capture forever. Prices are TDB. Recently I have been getting into digital collage work and photo manipulation. As someone with an ongoing mental disability, I like to use my photography to showcase how that affects the way I see the world. I like to change one aspect in an otherwise normal photo, such as color or composition and warp it slightly to make an ordinary picture look otherworldly. I love the style of vintage photos and try to emulate that in my work as well. I love stripped down, black and white, minimalism. Most importantly, I want my work to display how I view the world.
