Visual Art – Philadelphia
The images I create are often influenced by these factors: jazz of the 1920's, vintage cartoons, Japanese pop culture and Tokyo street fashion. While these four things represent two wildly different worlds, they blend into the same universe for me. Each factor belongs to a time period that has presented something whimsical, daring, and over-the-top. By marrying these components, my goal for my art has been to create images that are sweet and simple, but have a dark undertone to them. And vice versa, creating content that is strangely adorable and adorably strange.
