Photography – San Francisco

I\'m only truly happy when making art. I take photos constantly and work in non-profit arts administration by day, and on my art at night. I am an instructor at the San Francisco Center for the Book and have my own small stationary business, neon sprinkles studio. I was formally trained in photography and that is the medium I practice on a daily basis, and return to again and again. I was born and raised in New England, and art school took me to San Francisco where I received a BFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute. I fell in love with the city, and decided to stay. My love for all things hands-on means that I have also expanded my work to book arts and printmaking as well. Often my images end up in zines and handbound journals or serve as source material for linoleum carvings. I look forward to being able to spend more time on my art and furthering my artistic career.
