ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hailing from Bridgeport, CT, Tanya Neely currently resides in Durham, NC, where she caters her artistry to the Triangle area and other surrounding locations. In early 2015, Tanya became an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay, where she began to dig a little deeper into her love of makeup. Tanya began to use her excess inventory to give her friends little makeovers. It wasn't before long referrals would come here and there. Tanya strives to create a pleasant, empowering and memorable experience for each and every woman who steps into Neely Glam Studios. The Neely Glam experience focuses on health, beauty, inspiration and creativity. Three and a half years later, Tanya has participated in several bridal events, hosted a couple one on one tutorials and has blessed hundreds of women in North Carolina with her natural born talent! This past June, Tanya participated in Platform Model and Talent Mentor agency's 1st Annual Southeast Regional Fashion and Modeling Competition, which was a fundraising event that shed light and brought awareness to Human Sex Trafficking. Tanya won the Makeup Artist portion of the competition and was named 2018 Platform MTM Makeup Artist of the Year. Tanya was recently hand selected to travel to Washington, D.C. this August to be apart of the WE Model USA Glam Squad, where one of her models won the final round to compete in ITALY September 2018! In Summer 2017, Tanya had the pleasure of doing makeup for celebrity and Grammy nominated rap artist, Remy Ma, nominated for Makeup Artist of the Year by ACHI Magazine, both 2017 and 2018 and was featured in her very first publication of the Carolina Connect. Neely Glam Studios Makeup Artistry offers plenty of beauty services, from a Glamover Deluxe, One-on-One Glam Sessions, Bridal Packages, luxurious travel accommodations and much more!
