Fashion – Vancouver
My name is Jonathan Loewen, street style fashion designer and owner of My Bruthas Closet. I was born in Port-Au Prince Haiti, adopted at 3 years old and raised in Abbotsford BC. I played university basketball, to doing modelling/tv/film/commercial acting and now designing. At a young age I was always interested in fashion and always wore unique outfits. So I wanted to design a garment where I could express myself in the way I like to style an outfit and pull different inspiration into the mix as well.
I first launched MBC in August of 2017. My collection of the ‘Classic’ and the ‘Formal’ Dungaree showcases the versatility and fresh style when worn down revealing the unique patterns, colours, and designs shown in the lining of the bib and straps.
