Photography – Chicago
Started in Rochester NY, in January 2016, MGibbs Creative begun as a Sole Proprietorship founded by owner Matt Gibney to provide art services in mediums from music to videography. Since then, Gibney has helped clients in realms all the way from composing musical arrangements, to shooting engagement photos. However a large portion of the work created, either on a commission basis or as a passion project, has been within the realm of nature photography. Gibney grew up in Colorado and thus led to his love of the outdoors. When he traveled to the concrete jungle of Chicago to pursue a degree in Communications via Visual Arts, this love became manifest in his pursuit of adventure photography. The photos seen here go to show the diversity of craft which Gibney has developed, from fashion portraiture, to exploration and adventure photography. The pieces that will be shown and sold at the RAW Artist Showcase, best represent the travels, passion for the outdoors, as well as the growth in artistic breadth that Gibney has been blessed to experience through starting and pursuing a small business based on giving passionate art to the people.
