Visual Art – Edmonton
I have always loved art and knew it was my passion but it has only been recently that I have taken it to a whole new level.
I was passionate about it in high school and had big dreams but something held me back, maybe it was not having enough life experience and confidence that stopped me from pursuing it consistently. I would paint maybe one painting a year and that went on for 20(!!!) years. In April 2018 I decided it was time, and as a stay at home mom with children that are getting older and more independant I had more time and energy to put into my art business.
I create with acrylic or oil pastels and work in abstract styles, either complete abstract paintings or of pieces of nature that inspire me. So far it has been a great success, with many requests for commissions of pets etc and I have been loving doing it. I feel blessed to be able to do what I love and with the creative ideas flowing nonstop I’m excited to keep creating.
