Luke Schwettman

Photography – Seattle

I am Luke Schwettman and I am an aspiring landscape and lifestyle/portrait photographer. My love for photography began when I was about 12 years old and I was given my first cheap camera: a plastic, disposable film camera from Walgreens. The best part of this camera was it was all mine! When I would develop my film at walgreens, I would get a free roll, being 12 with no disposable income, free film was all the motivation I needed to keep on shooting. 200+ rolls of film later, and a few years of practice and I felt the need to progress. As I started my college career I had yet to decide on what I really wanted to do, so I gave myself the opportunity to learn as much as I could about the passion I had already developed so deeply: Photography. I am now on my way towards obtaining my Associates in Fine Arts here in Seattle, WA with a dream to become an established nature/wildlife photographer. I love nachos and margaritas, mountain biking, and exploring the beauty of the PNW. If I am not out creating, you can find me working on my bike. Canon for life!
