Ben LeVahn-LeVahn Woodworking

Craft – Minneapolis

Ben began woodworking after being inspired by the natural-world based artwork during trips to Minnesota's scenic North Shore and the Pacific Northwest with the goal of bring the natural lines and patterns of nature into the everyday. Ben's primary medium is wood turned on a lathe into pieces like bowls, pens, jewelry, and house items (stoppers and anything with a handle) as well as wood carving. The two favorite parts of Ben's projects are the beginning when envisioning what it might be and the application of finishing oil that brings to life all the swirls of wood grain patterns.
