Accessories – Honolulu

First and foremost I am a mother of three beautiful children. and the wife of a man that makes the preservation of our Hawaiian culture his mission in life as a restoration builder of ancient Hawaiian fishponds. I myself am a cultural practitioner of Hawaiian arts from the island of Moloka\'i and I have been a kumu or teacher of the Hawaiian culture, hula and language for 10 years now. . I grew up in a family full of artists, musicians and dancers and my children are inspired to do the same. In my free time I create handmade scarves and accessories from recycled t -shirts. I hand dye them with batik dyes as well as natural dyes that I make from both indigenous and endemic Hawaiian plants. My scarfs are absolutely perfect for any occasion from the office, to Sunday service, cocktail hour, or a formal dinner party.
