Visual Art – Kansas City
Hi there! I'm Leah, a 25 year old Kansas City native who has been an artist since I could hold a crayon in my hand. Nowadays, I've upgraded my materials and honed my skills a bit more, but I still enjoy a good coloring session alongside my nieces and nephews.
My favorite medium to work with (so far) is watercolor. It can be difficult, but I enjoy the challenge. I like to add calligraphy or an ink sketch to the work in contrast to the pop of color.
I'm inspired by whatever is around me, usually nature, people and quotes. Music and poetry find their way into my art as well.
When I'm not working at Hallmark in Crown Center, I can be found at home reading a good book, painting, or out and about at church or with friends.
