Konane Wildcrafted Fashion

Fashion – Nashville

Callie Konane Rickards, a descendant of King Kaumuali\'i of Kauai, was born and raised in Southwest Texas and schooled in textiles at the Rhode Island School of Design, R.I.S.D., in Providence. She then retreated to the beaches of Miami where she met her first spiritual family, the sacred human technology of kundalini yoga, and was blessed to work as a studio assistant to Jim Drain. After a brief stint living in a tiki hut in Portland OR and hitching a ride to Burning Man where she was welcomed home for the first time she landed in the \"real world\" designing sweaters and accessories for three years at Free People in Philadelphia. Longing to be truly free she then went on to design costumes for The Killers, \"Spaceman\" music video and started her own line of one and a few of a kind garments and accessories, Konane Wildcrafted Fashion. Putting her worldly possessions in storage and hitting the road for the Southwest she allowed the universe to create with her the highest art form, true love. On top of a sacred mountain in New Mexico she met her lover, partner and best friend. They drove his vegetable oil ambulance back to the beautiful Smokey Mountains where they currently live and co-create with the Infinite everyday. Her latest endeavor is Flower Hunter, her line of flower essences, available soon at Otherwild Goods and Services in LA.
