Kalin is a self-taught artist with a background in architecture, whose work portrays a reflection of life. Much of her artwork involves settings of the night that symbolizes the most vulnerable time of day for a person. This is typically when things get quiet, the truth is revealed, and the mind starts to think of life and the world around them. The topics range from personal experience to political views but are always about reigniting positivity. The point of views can always be seen as a collection but you only get a glimpse of the topic with viewing just one piece. Through a variety of mediums ranging from acrylic paint to ink drawings she is selective on the medium and colors used to portray each topic.
