Visual Art – Montréal

Kila Divina is a nomadic artist currently based in Montreal, QC. She creates surreal designs inspired & drawn around the world; from ocean to ocean, mountain to mountain; everywhere & nowhere, and somewhere in between. Captivated by the wonders of this realm & beyond, she sees every living being as a work of art, a source of inspiration, a woven web of intricate beauty. While hitchhiking through Central America, pen & paper gave way to deep meditation, where Kila began using symmetry as a way to create balance within. She begins each drawing with the birth of creation; a petal, the yoni, the lotus, the sacred feminine. From the darkness to light, she allows creation to flow with no intention as to what will manifest on the page, pen dancing on paper. Most of her work was originally done on the islands while sailing across the South Pacific Ocean & during her travels through Europe & Asia, when she had the time and space to create with a fluid universal flow.
