Jas Liberty

Visual Art – Ottawa

In a world.. where an escape is needed sometimes, Jas Liberty picked up a can of spray paint, blank canvas, and a picture of a favorite musician. The result was a Layne Staley piece resembling a Warhol, and the artist awoke within. Jas Liberty emerged, starting on canvas he created pieces that began this first collection. While exploring different mediums, he found vinyl to be what was missing. Influences like Warhol, Shepard Fairey, Banksy and other renegade type artists molded his style. Hand cutting each image, carefully selecting each colour and medium, each piece came to life.
