Visual Art – Toronto
Bryan Navasero is a practicing artist, photoshop wizard and a little studio hobbit. A Sheridan College alumni, Bryan has found a home in making (semi) pretty pictures with toxic paint. He believes that he will never be as good as the masters that came before him but he is willing to cherish his mini victories no matter how small they are. Still wandering but only semi lost, Bryan is constantly sharpening his fundamentals and treating every painting as a stepping stone to learn and improve.
Bryan moderates Open Life Drawing at Winged Canvas and is also perfecting the trade of fine art imaging and reproduction. He also likes to binge on coffee and Sriracha Hot Sauce. (but not at the same time.) Most of his money goes to art books that feed his passion for classical realism, fantasy illustration, and figurative painting. This is probably why he is always starving.
Bryan is also starting to experiment in digital painting and photography although traditional oil painting and drawing will always be his two true loves.
Although Bryan loves the complicated and imaginary, he loves to convey a sense of humour and quirkiness in his pieces.
