Visual Art – Minneapolis

I'm a driven and passionate acrylic painter trained at the Minneapolis College of Art and design. I've recently adopted 2 primary philosophies about my work: "Fail Faster," and "Forward Momentum." It is an oft-cited axiom that an artist must "make 10,000 bad paintings before they can make one good one," and it's my aim to really professionalize my approach to the creation of the early work, so I can be thoroughly prepared for the quality work to follow. Since late February 2019, I've been finishing at least one painting study or full painting every day, and I don't plan to slow down any time soon. I'd love to show you some of the work I'm doing, so drop me a line if you're curious to see any of the new stuff, and remember to follow my Instagram to follow the process (greatgrendel).
