Fashion – Connecticut
Born and raised in Connecticut from an Italian family of seamstresses, carpenters and other creative energies, I was brought up with the 'why buy it when you can make it' attitude. I got an early start on putting my own spin on things by way of drawing, baking, painting but it wasn't until after graduating college with a degree in art education that I found my true passion was fashion design. Being a summer baby and loving everything about what summer entails, I started out by creating handmade bathing suits. That venture developed into what is now Gaetani Lifestyle Brand - my vision of a well-rounded swimwear brand with function and edge; a journey so far, both extremely challenging and rewarding.
