Visual Art – Kitchener-Waterloo

Growing up, my father was a furniture builder / cabinet maker. I had a passion for wood, but I never wanted to build those types of things. Having begun using a scroll saw in 1992, I quickly found a passion for artistry in wood. Over the years, my work has evolved from simple silhouettes and intarsia (wooden puzzle pictures) mostly using plywoods to now doing intricately detailed fretwork, almost solely in solid woods.
