Ashlee Eva-Lauren Gary is the founder and owner of Eva-Lauren Designs. Her childhood was defined by her creativity and artistic exploration. While most children were playing outside and watching television, Ashlee was making and selling everything from candy and lanyard keychains to custom decorative pillows and clay necklaces. She also developed a love and passion for stones early on when she was first introduced to them during a school field trip to a natural science museum.
She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts-Social Sciences from Northwestern State University in 2008. Although she studied social sciences, her desire to create never left. While in college she began refining her jewelry-making skills by taking classes during her summer breaks. During this time she developed her niche and started getting commissions for her work. In 2010 she founded Eva-Lauren Designs, turning her passion into a business. Since its founding, her jewelry has been featured in various shows, a magazine (FotoShoot Magazine), festivals, weddings, including The Big Fake Wedding, St. Mary's Gumbo Festival, and stores Mary's Flowers and Gift Shop, and One Green Street.
Today Eva-Lauren Designs is a highly sought out source for jewelry in the Houston-area and now has expanded its market throughout the US with the creation of evalaurendesigns.com. Although the company is growing to great heights, jewelry still remains a peaceful and relaxing passion for Ashlee.
