Hello! My name is Heidi and I am the jewelry maker! Everything I do, I do with a passion and with loads of LOVE!
I grew up in North Carolina, a state that will forever hold a piece of my heart. I started playing music and performing as a singer song-writer in college which took me all across the country. I will cherish those days deep within my heart forever, as I experienced life to the fullest and met so many wonderful people. I performed and played for years as a solo musician until I met a band in Charlotte, NC, took a huge leap with them, and moved to NYC to try something new and make some more magic!
Touring with the band led us to Europe and many many miles were clocked touring once again all over the USA. Those were also some of the most cherished times of my life. My plan was to be in NY for ONE year. Well, over ten years later, here I am! Living in Queens! I met and married the love of my life, and I gave birth to the most amazing person I have ever met, our daughter, EMMY! We also have another child who has four legs and has pretty stinky breath sometimes :) He is our sweet Dachshund, OLLIE!
Alas!! EMMY AND OLLIE began before I even realized it would become the very root of my next journey! I am a creator, an artist of many mediums, a stay at home mom and I adore it all. My musical creative side took a back seat for a while however, it was totally worth every second spent at home with our little baby who so quickly turned into a little girl! I was so inspired once I discovered the art of jewelry making and how I could incorporate who I am as a multi artist into a more tangible craft and career, all while still being able to stay home with little Emmy.
My wonderful husband David, who is also a multi talented artist, is a skilled photographer and has a keen eye for good design and lighting which is a crucial piece of this puzzle as well! We have a whole lot of love as a family, and I will always put a whole lot of love into making your jewelry! I hope that will always shine through in each and every piece that I create! <3
