Visual Art – Salt Lake City

My mum and dad said I could be anything I wanted to be when I grew up, so I became an Artist. After they stopped crying and came to terms with knowing their son would be broke his whole life they accepted my fate and have supported me ever since. Raised in Utah, (but not raised that way). I've been jumping from boring job to even more boring job searching for something I would enjoy, all while being pushed relentlessly by my friends and family to pursue an Art career. For most of my life I ignored them and with no self confidence to speak of, resigned myself to work "normal jobs". Recently I've tossed my arms triumphantly in the air, kicked the thumb out of my rear and decided to do some of the pushing myself. Now have a goal in mind. Not to reach out to strangers or send a message about the state our world is in, but to let the flame covered bonanza of my inner monologue and the irregular thumping of my heart do some of the talking for me and let that inspire the viewer however it will.
