Dulcinea Moran

Visual Art – Seattle

Dulcinea Moran is an emerging abstract oil painter and mixed media artist based in Seattle, WA. Dulcinea earned her BA in Fine Arts from Western Washington University in 2014 and has since been actively creating, showcasing, and selling work in the greater Seattle area. Her work is primarily concerned with the investigation of color relationships; how colors behave with one another, the complexity of color, and how color has such a vital yet varying role for all sentient beings. Dulcinea is currently transitioning from a series she had been working on for four years, called Colorscapes, and in to her most current body of work, titled For My Love Of Flowers. This new work investigates self-acceptance, comfort, the abandonment of fear, and existentialism through abstracted floral imagery and the unique colors and perspective that flora can provide. Work you see in Dulcinea's photo gallery is largely older works, and her Raw showcase will be a debut of this new series.
