Performing Art – Houston

Born and raised in Houston, Texas . Started dancing at the age of 7 and have been dancing ever since. My base style is popping but has trained in styles such as hip-hop, house, salsa, bachata, kizomba and a little bit of everything else. My inspirations come from everyday life, whether it is human interactions, different physical activites or anything i watch from any form of entertainment. Art has been around me from a young age, I grew up watching Michael Jackson, James Brown, and other entertainers. My passion for dance really came to life after watching the movies You Got Served and Step Up. In 2012, I was introduced to the hip hop dance community of Houston and from there I took my dancing to a whole new level. I grew deeper into progressing in my popping style to the point where I would travel, teach, and battle to gratefully winning a few competitions. Meeting new people gave me the opportunity to express my passion for dance alongside others who shared the same love. In 2017, I was introduced to the Partner/Social dance scene in Austin,TX where journey was greeted with a whole new twist. Starting out I learned Latin styles of Salsa and Bachata, then gradually a year later was exposed to the soul-taking dance of KIZOMBA. Ever since then I have traveled across North America to dance, connect, and grow with other dancers . I want to inspire people with the positive energy I give through my passion of dance. Coming from the Solo dance world and now into the Partner dance scene, I plan to build a bridge between the two because all of us dancers are connected. My flavor from my hip-hop/ popping allows me to have my own unique style in the social dance scene, in which, I plan to continue to train and travel to become the best version of myself.
