Danielle M. Ellis for Monèt Portfolio

Fashion – Miami

Danielle M. Ellis expresses herself within one of the world’s most ancient visual art disciplines and one of the first genres of public art– The Textile Arts. “My Hue-a-Porter creations are about sharing art, they are not stagnant or about being placed into stationary vaults only for selective eyes. Hue-a-Porter gives the pictorial connection that yields a social commonality thru optical communications…a fellowship that exists between all living creatures and their environments. I do this by performing my mastered aesthetics and refined, innovative workmanship within the skillful nuances of Art-to-Wear. I personify my forms of expressions through washes, dyeing & painting with colorants via hand applications on natural textiles. I then moulage these Monèt Portfolio’s In-Dye House fabrics through demi-couture tailoring, and digital textile surface design techniques into Modern-Contemporary Art Wear. This implementation is also a direct approach to Sustainable Designing with the integrity focus of Slow Fashion. As well as, it minimizes the vigorous industrial scale labor, environmental impact thru ethical production and manufacturing of high-quality pieces.” –Danielle M. Ellis Presently, Danielle is the Creative Art Director at Monèt Portfolio founded in 2009, this once online digital reference portfolio has evolved into Monèt Portfolio's Textile Artistry Studio. This budding textile arts studio’s current service and product offerings entail the following: Travel Friendly-Art Accessories and Wear Product assortments, Creation Instructional Services, Textile Digital and Hand-Dyed Art Designs. “Purpose into Practice” is directly addressed by Danielle at MP thru sharing the behind the scenes processes and style stories of the developments.
