DNM just kind of happened. Diana is French, her parents are from Ivory Coast. She moved to Winnipeg to attend University and took some Hip Hop Dance Classes in France. Once in Winnipeg, she looked into other types of dance and was drawn to African Contemporary; she still practices this contemporary form of dance with the Nafro Dance Production. Marina is from Burundi, a small country in East Africa, she has been in Winnipeg since 2009, and came to attend university as well. She started dancing at a young age, it has been an on and off kind of relationship between her and Hip Hop Dance. She is more of a lyrical Hip Hop lover, and tends to focus more on the words and their message instead of the beat. These two young ladies met in 2011 and work well together, they do what they love most together.
