Mercedes was born in Florida but raised mostly in Kansas City,Mo. Art has always been a big part of her life,starting at a young age crafting was always something to be enjoyed,from making bead animals,painting and scuIpting creating has been the ine thing that has been consistent. She now works with many different mediums,initially starting with resin jewelry making and wood working doing marbling finishes in resin. She have since broadened onto alcohol inks on yupo paper and acrylic on canvas coating them in resin for a great shine and finish to last. Abstract work is so unique because no one thing is ever the same and that's what makes her work so fun to work with.
