Visual Art – Los Angeles

Born in Dubai, I came to LA to get my BA in architecture at USC and fell in love with the city so I decided to stay. I worked for a year and a half after school and then decided to get my masters in architecture, once again from USC (once a trojan, always a trojan I guess). Literally art and design is what i live and breathe. From a very young age I was into creating and drawing and my parents encouraged that. This coupled with some great teachers along the way has led me where I am today. As far as my artwork goes, it is created in the time that I have in between my classes and it\'s just a away to vent out. I love vibrant colours and try to bring in aspects of my culture into my work as much as I can. Drawing or painting is something I do in my free time, because I enjoy doing it, and its not something I see as a chore. Being able to make something out of my favourite pastime, to gain some exposure for something that i absolutely love doing would be just beyond incredible!
