Carol Schinkel, Painter of Happyscapes

Until a few years ago my creations didn’t include paintings, but now I play mostly in acrylics, sometimes watercolours and occasionally mixed media. Subjects range from kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms and tea pots to hotdogs and snowmen. I make gift cards and tags, canvas and birch panel paintings and do customized watercolour “lifeline” paintings (your life stories/interests on a clothesline). Schinkel Happyscapes hang in the homes of collectors across Canada, in Japan, Scotland and Kenya.
