Brooke Jean is a passionate woman who takes pride in disseminating a message of respect, peace and love through her artistic talents. She seeks to provoke thought amongst the masses of people from all ethnic backgrounds. Brooke Jean’s platform consists of a well-balanced blend of old school and modern day values. She is a multi-faceted artist whose work originates from her writing, music and poetry performances. She made her mark with her poetry professionally in late 2009. In December of 2011 Brooke Jean released her first EP entitled \"A Poets Intuition.\" In April of 2012 she began her first tour performing at many venues in Los Angeles before broadening her horizons. Even though she resides in Los Angeles Brooke Jean’s work has reached far beyond the jurisdiction of California. In June 2012 she embarked upon the east coast performing at well-known venues such as the historic Nuyorican Poets Cafe in New York, NY and Busboys & Poets in Washington, D.C. In December of 2012 Brooke Jean was the opening act for the Grammy nominated artist Bilal at the historic Key Club in Hollywood, California. In May of 2013 Brooke Jean performed at the historic House of Blues in Hollywood, California. In June 2013 Brooke Jean received sponsorship from Proctor & Gamble and Tide detergent’s Rising Tide campaign. She was also mentored by Hip Hop Mogul Russell Simmons on furthering her artistic career. Currently Brooke Jean is preparing for new releases and a domestic and international tour for summer 2014.
