Born and raised in Edmonton, Brittany began dancing here in Edmonton! She is a versatile dancer who trained in Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Lyrical and Musical Theatre and was also taught professionally for her voice. In addition to her dance training Brittany has also completed an Honors Diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute for Technology in Television Broadcasting. She spent two years heavily involved in the Broadcasting industry, where she utilized her talents making music videos, short films and focused on entertainment reporting. Her hard work landed her a job in Toronto with the Discovery Channel show, Daily Planet. Now back in Edmonton, Brittany is teaching full time. Her innovative choreography has been seen in many local performances and events including a production of the Musical “Hairspray.” In addition to teaching, Brittany performs as an independent artist and works as a freelance guest teacher, adjudicator, choreographer, and is also a production manager and editor for Lindisfarne Productions. She has continued to take classes at Edge PAC, Harbour Dance Centre with some incredible choreographers in the industry. Brittany believes sharing the love, art and freedom of movement in dance with students and colleagues is extremely important. She finds great joy in continuing to watch her students’ progress each year and share their achievements: in classes, exams and especially… on stage!
