Brittany attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago, earning herself a Bachelor's of Fine Art in Watercolour Painting. While in school, she emerged herself in classical art, learning about techniques, composition, and colour theory. After graduating, Brittany began to explore working abstractly, entering into the world of mixed media. Currently, she favors using various texture materials such as caulk or plaster, fabric dye, charcoal, spray paint, and acrylic paint. Brittany also designs jewelry, knits, bakes, and is a budding gardener. She believes in living a creative life, and tries to find ways to fuse her desire to create with all other aspects of her world.
