Visual Art – Chicago
Britni Mara (Swift) is an emerging visual artist based in Chicago, IL. After receiving her BFA from Bradley University, she did a semester abroad at the Siena Art Institute in Siena, Italy. There, her work began to morph into a culturally motivated series. A classically trained painter, she is currently working with cosmetic products as an unconventional medium; using anything and everything from eye shadow, body lotions, blush, mascara, hairspray and lipstick to create abstract paintings.
Her commercial work resides in resin pouring, as she creates custom works for clients based on individual needs. Britni's commissions have homes in LA, NY and the good ol' inbetween midwest.
