Visual Art – Portland

I draw inspiration for my art from the natural world around me. Whether it’s a scene that comes to fruition in my own mind or from a photo of a specific location, I try to capture the energy that is created organically in nature. As a Pacific Northwest native and local, a lot of my art comes from natural features in Oregon, including Mt. Hood, waterfalls of the Columbia River Gorge, and the Oregon Coast. Outside of painting, I spend my personal time exploring Oregon’s trails, rocks, and waters, and riding my horse. I am currently working toward my Masters in Social Work and am passionate about building a practice that connects humans, nature, and art in a meaningful way that fosters equity and social change.
